Henry County native Robert F. “Bob” Bevill, 80, of Steamboat Springs, Colo., died Friday, March 9, 2012, at the Doak Walker Care Center of Steamboat Springs.

His wife, Eve Bevill, survives.

The body was cremated.

A graveside memorial service is scheduled at 1 p.m. Sunday in Maplewood Cemetery. Robert Martin, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Paris, will officiate.

No visitation is scheduled. McEvoy Funeral Home will be in charge.

Born in Henry County on March 8, 1932, he was a son of the late Chester C. and Ruby McClure Bevill.

Bevill also leaves two sisters: Margaret F. Bevill and Mary Jane (Earl) Shankle, both of Paris; a sister-in-law: Frances Bevill of Memphis; and 13 nieces and nephews.

He also was preceded in death by four sisters: Eva Bevill, Verleen Bomar, Christine Dunlap and Norma Griggs; and two brothers: Herbert and Rupert Bevill.

Memorials may be made to the Doak Walker Care Center, 1100 Central Park Drive, Steamboat Springs, CO   80487.
