Rites Are Tomorrow

Harriet Anderson Brinson was among the top 10 students in her class in Grove Junior High School the past two years, was a cheer leader, a girl scout and a member of the order of Rainbow Girls. She would have been in the 9th grade this year.

Funeral services for the pretty 14-year-old, killed instantly in an automobile accident here Monday, will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at McEvoy Chapel. Rev. James E. Riherd will officiate and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Harriet was the daughter of Mrs. Ann Anderson Brinson, bookkeeper at Johnsonius and Sons, and the late Harry L. Brinson. A sister, Mary Ann Brinson, also survives.

July 25, 1949 - August 12, 1963

Harriet Brinson would have been in the Grove High Class of  1967 if not for the tragic auto accident. (b.d.)
