Patricia Ann Cotter Chambers, 63, died
Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007, at Henry County Medical Center. A memorial service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2007, at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. The service will be conducted by Bro. Fred Shackleford of Springhill Baptist Church and Carlton Gerrell, associate pastor of Tennessee Valley Community Church. McEvoy Funeral Home is in charge. Born Aug. 1, 1944, in Henry County, she was the daughter of Maxine Cooper of Paris and the late John R. Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband James Wayne Chambers, who gave his life while serving in Vietnam in 1967. A graduate of E.W. Grove High School, Ms. Chambers was employed with Professional Adjustment Services of Nashville. She is survived by a son, James Chance Chambers of Nashville; a stepson, Dennis Cooper of Martin, Tenn. She leaves a sister: Dianne (Windell) Flanagan; a brother, Ronald (Beverly) Cooper; nephews, Joey (Donna) Cooper and Chad (Melissa) Hart; a niece: Mandi (Jason) Osbron; a great-nephew, Chase Cooper; great-nieces, Anna Hart and Mia Osbron, all of Paris. She also is survived by her poodle and loyal companion, Angel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Mineral Wells Animal Clinic. |
