Former Paris resident Jeane Williams Herrmann, 88, of Lisle, Ill., died Thursday, May 16, 2013, in Lisle, which is a suburb of Chicago. Her body was donated to science for a medical school study.

A memorial service is planned at 11 a.m. May 31 at Faith United Methodist Church in Lisle.

Born in 1925 in Florence, Ala., she was the daughter of the late William Percy Williams and Lucy Cowan Williams. She and her family moved to Paris in 1927.

After World War II, she married Erwin Herrmann, who was a Camp Tyson soldier and is now deceased. They lived most of their lives in the Chicago area.

She leaves two daughters: Linda Josephs and Lori Richard; and one son: Rick Herrmann.
