Cynthia "Cindy" Jo Jennings, 68, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016, surrounded by her family in Nashville, Tennessee, after bravely battling heart and lung disease for more than 20 years.

Cindy was born in Paris, Tennessee on April 12, 1948, to Robert Jerome and Rebecca Hartsfield Claxton. She was married to Charles Michael Jennings on November 11, 1967. She owned the Ragamuffin Shoppe, a children’s clothing store, for 18 years.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her two children: Nicole Jennings Wade, Jason (Julianne) Jennings, and her most precious granddaughter Lily, all of Atlanta; nephew Randall Bedwell of Franklin, TN; niece Lynne Bedwell Green of Paris; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister, Sandra Ann Bedwell of Paris.

A memorial service honoring Cindy will be held on Saturday, October 15 at 3:00 pm, with visitation at 2:00 pm at McEvoy Funeral Home in Paris, TN. Reverend Eddie Martin of Camden will officiate.

Memorials may be made in her memory to Partnership Against Domestic Violence in Atlanta, Georgia.
