| Retired certified nursing
assistant Barbara Ann Lee, 78, of Paris died Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at
Paris Healthcare Center. Her husband, Bobby Lee, survives. The body was cremated. No service or visitation is planned. Ridgeway Funeral Home was in charge. Born in Paris on Jan. 15, 1933, she was a daughter of Carl Edward Compton and Myrtle Irene Jobe Compton, now both deceased. She retired as a CNA at Eiffel Gardens in Paris. In addition to her husband, she leaves a sister, Kathy Hunter of Springville; a brother, Barry Compton of Lexington; and a niece, Anita Cannon of Paris. She was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Compton. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa McAtee; and two sisters, Martha Pierce and Mary Goddard.
