Jerry D. Mustain ~ Obituary

Jerry D. Mustain, age 74 of Paris, died Monday November 21, 2016.

Jerry was a member of TVCC and retired as shop foreman for the Henry County Highway after 30 years. He sold real estate for several years and was also a former auctioneer. Jerry attended Austin Peay University on a basketball scholarship and was inducted in to the Henry County Sports Hall of Fame in 2006. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in Vietnam. Jerry loved University of Tennessee Football, spending time with his grandchildren, and especially family trips to the beach.

Jerry was born September 30, 1942 in Paris, TN to the late John Douglas Mustain and the late Thelma Ross Hedges.

Jerry married Sherry Hudson Mustain on March 5, 1965 and she preceded him in death on August 28, 2016. He is survived by one daughter, Stacha (Jeff) McFarland of Paris, TN; one son, Chris (Sherry) Mustain of Paris, TN; one sister, Barbara (Larry) Page of Paris, TN; one brother, Billy (Goldia) Mustain of Pineville, LA; four grandchildren, Jaelan Mustain, Brady Mustain, Keaton McFarland, and Sydney McFarland; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN. He is to be cremated.

Memorial Visitation will be Sunday November 27, 2016 at Tennessee Valley Community Church from 2 – 5 pm with a Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 pm with Bro. Steve Gallimore officiating.
