| Elizabeth Ann Nichols Price The funeral service for Elizabeth Ann Anderson Price of Big Sandy will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church at Springville. Gary S. Collier will officiate. Burial will follow in Poplar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today at McEvoy Funeral Home and after noon Saturday at the church. Mrs. Price, 63, died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2007, at her residence. She was married on Dec. 22, 1962, to Joseph 'Joe' Elmore Price, who survives. Born July 12, 1943, in Henry County, she was a daughter of Buren and Lizzie Mizell Nichols, now both deceased. Mrs. Price was a 1961 graduate of Grove High School. She also graduated from Nashville Business College. She retired after 39 years as insurance and medical clerk at East Wood Clinic in Paris. She was an organizer for National Flint Knappers associations across the country. She also leaves one daughter: Jo (Earl) Laughlin of Millington; one son: Elmore 'Lee' (Ronni) Price of Big Sandy; one sister: Sue (Jim) Wooldridge of Buchanan; her mother-in-law: Vera Price of Big Sandy; a sister-in-law: Nancy (Jerry) Bane of Paris; Two brothers-in-law: Jim (Charlotte) Price and Jerry (Teresa) Price, both of Big Sandy; an uncle: William Mizell of San Antonio, Texas; and five grandchildren: Bryce Hardy, Sean Laughlin, Kristen Moore, Levi Price and Nathan Condeelis. She also was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Elmore Earl Price. |
