GROVE CLASS OF
1948
54TH-YEAR REUNION
The Grove High School Class of 1948
recently held it’s 54th-year reunion. Class members attended from Texas, Alabama,
West Virginia, Martin, Jackson, Memphis, Waynesboro and Paris.Class members and guests
enjoyed a barbecue supper
the night of September 27 at the First Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall. The event was
hosted by Beverly Wood,
Carolyn Wallis, Emily Foust and Aileen Anderson. Former teacher and coach Miss Lamar
Roberts was a special guest.
On September 28, the group toured Grove School, Paris Civic Center, Krider Performing Arts
Center, Paris Elementary School,
Paris-Henry County Heritage Center and the Lee School building. That night the group met
for dinner and fellowship at
Tom’s Pizza and Steak House.
