| The Cottage Grove High School Class of 1968
had its 40th reunion Saturday in the fellowship building of the Cottage Grove Baptist
Church. Nine of the original 25 classmates, along with their class sponsor, toured the old
school building, had a meal and reminisced about the past. Two members are deceased and
five members live out of state and could not attend; no address is available for three
members. Pictured at the reunion are (from left, front row) Mary Ann Davis Burkhead of Senatobia, Miss., Donna Wood Jackson of Ashville, Ala., and Vickie Hart Kesterson of Paris; (second row) Betty Jo Thompson Shirk of Murphysboro, Ill., and Glenn Oliver, Tommy Veazey, class sponsor Leonard Medlock, all of Henry County; (third row) Kathy Lassiter Ball, Marvin Long and Scott Berryman, all of Henry County. The next reunion will be in five years. |
