Eleven members of the Cottage Grove High School Class
of 1956
and one of their teachers met August 3 for the class' 46th-year reunion.
The gathering was held at Paris Landing State Park.
Attending - left to right:
1st row: Teacher Hallie Gulick, Sara Hudgins Champine, Joe Allen, Bennie Akers;
2nd row: Carolyn Dublin Chandler, Kay Hopkins Forsythe, Sue Call, Shirley Orr,
Ted Nance, Jerry Wagner and Jerry Bridges.
Also attending but not pictured was
Maureen Crowder Evans.
The group enjoyed a buffet dinner in the inn dining room and relived school experiences.
The group will meet at the same place on the same date in 2003.
