GIRL'S   BASKETBALL  TEAM

Names were not provided for the girls basketball photo but the lady in the front with the basketball has been identified as Mildred Burnette.
The class of  '35 History states: "Fay Wiggins, Laurine Pierce, Margaret Ray and Mildred Burnette have represented our class in basketball for four years."
The 1931-32 school year was the first for Grove girl's varsity basketball. These girls, that played four years, would have been on the first Grove girl's Team.
