I served with Capt Johnny Burns in Glasgow, Montana with the 13th Fighter Interceptor Squadron. I only knew him as Capt Johnny Burns. I was a maintenance flight chief on the F-101B Voodoo Aircraft. Capt Burns was a test pilot and Officer in charge of the Quality Control Branch of the 13th FIS. He was a top notch test pilot and well admired by all, enlisted and officers alike. It was so sad to hear of his death and even now I know how his family and class mates must miss him and his smiling friendly face and charm.
As a born again Christian I look forward to meeting him again one day in the future. He served his country well and I honor him today as one of the heros of our day.
May God bless his surviving family.
I spent a full day in Paris, TN hitchhiking from Moody AFB GA to my home town in Sikeston, MO. in 1954 I retired a Senior Master Sergeant in the USAF after 21 years of service.I was stationed at Takli RTAFB Thailand in 1969-1970 and now live in Redmond Oregon. Thanks for letting me apply this entry in honor of Captain Johnny Burns. May God bless all who knew him.

I am trying to reach Lazette Crouch Hoover, I think she was Class of 1952.  I am her 2nd cousin (I think) - my grandmother was Francis Crouch and I have a genealogical packet I promised Lazette I would send her about 8 years ago, but it got lost in a stack of papers until now.  The phone number I have for her is no longer valid and I doubt her PO Box is still active.  If anyone knows how to reach her, please email me.

I remember Fugate as a wonderful man and ALWAYS made me smile when I was around him. Curt and Brett, I am so sorry for your loss.

A lot of us older generation remember Mr. Tom Redmon.  A teacher at Grove.  I can't remember when he started but he is in a retirement type home and would probably like a card.  His address is N H C Healthcare  812 N Charlotte,   Dickson, Tn.  37055
