Brisendine, 60, of Clarkville died Wednesday, May 12, 1993, At Trinity
Hospital, Erin, After a brief illness. He was the son of Merle Walker
Brisendine of Paris and the late Noel Brisendine. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Neal Tarpley Funeral Home, Clarksville, Tennessee, with E. Ray Jerkins and Richard Bentley officiating. Interment will be in Walker Cemetery, Paris, at 2 p.m. Friday. Visitation is from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. today and until service time Friday at the funeral home. Brisendine was born May 9, 1933, in Henry County. A self-employed truck driver, he was the former owner of Brisendine Outdoor Advertising. He was a former member of East Wood Church of Christ, Paris. A veteran of the Army during the Korean, he was a member of WarGold Wing Road Riders Association, Chapter Q Warioto Wings, Masonic Lodge 761 and Moose Lodge. Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Cynthis Brisendine Dowlen of Springfield; two sons' Rickey Brisendine of Nashville and Jeff Brisendine of Springfield, Tennessee. Named as active pallbearers were Burton Goad, Van Revis, Bill Jennings, Gus Elliot, Al Sperry, Mark Dowlen and Ricky and Jeff Brisendine. |
