David Earl Harber ~ Obituary

Butler & Harber Shoes store owner and operator David Earl Harber, 59, of Paris was dead on arrival Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at Henry County Medical Center. The cause of death was not given.

His wife, JoAnn Dotson Harber, survives. They were married July 4, 1992.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Scott Solowey officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Named as pallbearers are Paul, John and Matt Harber, Michael and James Morgan and Darmon, Lynn, Donald and Cody Dotson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris and Steve Cannon, Jerry and David Crouch, Randy Hart, Charlie Redden, Robert Owens, Kevin Hamlin and David Flowers.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Thursday.

Born Feb. 7, 1951, in Dyersburg, he was the son of Billy Harber Sr. and Hazel Butler Harber of Paris.

Harber was a member of First Baptist Church, the Downtown Paris Association and the Elks and Moose lodges. He was a former member of the Paris-Henry County Jaycees.

He also leaves two children: Danielle (James) Hrachovina of Paris and Jason (Jacquelyn) Harber of Rochester, Mich.; two brothers: Bill (Kay) Harber Jr. of Paris and Ron (Melanie) Harber of Southaven, Miss.; and two grandchildren: Austin Hrachovina of Paris and Zachery Harber of Rochester.
