| A memorial service for former
Keebler and Jim Adams IGA employee McSwain L. Jackson of Springville will be
at 2 p.m. Thursday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Bobby Sanders of Springville Baptist Church, where Jackson was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Jackson, 77, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at his residence. His wife, JoAnn Hendley Jackson, survives. They were married on Aug. 8, 1992. His first wife, Shirley Smith Jackson, died Oct. 26, 1991. They were married on Feb. 15, 1953. Born Jan. 15, 1935, in Henry County, he was a son of the late McSwain L. Jackson Sr. and Geneva Mobley Jackson. Jackson was a Grove High School graduate. He worked for Keebler for 20 years and Jim Adams for 17-1/2 years. He was an avid fisherman and yard sale connoisseur. He also leaves one daughter: Kimberly Ann Doede of McKenzie; one son: Barry (Ginny) Jackson of Dickson; a daughter-in-law: Susie Jackson of Buchanan; one brother: Thomas (Connie) Jackson of Jupiter, Fla.; four grandchildren: Melesa Lassiter, Brandon Lamb, Josh Jackson and Alex Jackson; three great-grandchildren: Bradley Lamb, Tanner Lamb and Gentry Lassiter; and two stepgrandchildren: Michael Hudson and Cory Hudson. He also was preceded in death by a son: David M. Jackson on Jan. 17, 2012; and a son-in-law: Keith Allen Doede on Sept. 21, 2009. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
