Boonsboro - Charles
Edward Trotter, 74, of North Main Street, died Wednesday, March 2,
2005, at Washington County Hospital. Born Feb. 17, 1931, in Paris, Tenn., he
was the son of the late John Huston and Mary Elexie Workman Trotter.
He was a 1949 graduate of Grove High School in Paris. He was a veteran of
the U.S. Air Force. He was employed as a safety manager with the United
States Postal Service. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in
Boonsboro. He was a member of Clopper-Michael American Legion Post 10 in
Boonsboro and AARP.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Green Trotter, whom he married July 31,
1982; four daughters, Cynthia Wynandt of Manchaca, Texas, Beverly
Trotter-Low and Laura Trotter, both of Buda, Texas, and Mary Trotter of
Kyle, Texas; three sons, Michael Trotter of Buda, Patrick Trotter of San
Marcos, Texas, and Timothy Trotter of Austin, Texas; one stepdaughter, Susan
Lynch of Westminster, Md.; one stepson, John Green of Westminster; two
sisters, Betty C. Gannon of Smyrna, Tenn., and Mary C. Cobb of Old Hickory,
Tenn.; two brothers, Joe A. Trotter of Paris, and John D. Trotter of Dennis,
Kan.; 16 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 4 stepgrandchildren; and 3
stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby L. Trotter, and one grandson.
Services were held at the Victory Baptist Church, Boonsboro; burial was in
Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, Md. |
