GROVE HIGH TENNIS Last year, tennis was inaugurated as an interscholastis sport at Grove. The team played and won four games from contest, two each with Humboldt and Murray. This year a more ambitious program was undertaken successfully up to the time of going to press. On April 2nd we defeated the U. T. Junior College at Martin by the score of four to three and on the eleventh we took two out of three from the Freshman team at Murray State. Richard Dunlap, George Roe and Prentiss Leffler are called on for most of the work; Tony Currier. T.W. Doty, Russell Moore and John Province also took part. Dunlap won the school championship in singles with Roe runner-up. Dunlap and Leffler are our chief reliances in the doubles. |

GROVE HIGH TRACK 1932 begins the third year that Grove has had a track team. Regardless of bad weather, the team has already experienced success. They have had only one meet as yet but took second place in it.The meet was held in Murray and Schools of the first district of Kentucky and the five bordering counties in Tennessee were present. Grove placed second with a total of 73 points, following up Murray who had 94 points. Among those taking part were: |
